Retail therapy?

I've never been a big spender. As a teenager I went to the mall a lot for something to do, but I hardly ever bought anything. But lately I've been wanting to buy lots of things. Things to decorate the house, to help me get organized, it's just a really good sale, or new craft projects. The thing is that I buy these things and then they just sit there while I plan out the next thing I need to get. It's a little funny that I'm creating more clutter buying organizing things. I read an article that said when men are stressed they have the fight or flight instinct, but women have a hording instinct when they are stressed. I read this and thought "I'm not stressed in fact I am the complete opposite of stressed, I need things to do." Which is not true, I have plenty of things to do. Apparently my lack of stress has made me stressed. So I decided that after I buy something I need to get things done before I buy anything else. This way I get things done and I space out buying more stuff. Here is my "in order to buy something new I need to" list:

-get dog/turkey quilts to the quilter
-clean guest room
-organize professional pictures
-Scrapbook professional pictures
-put current pictures of the kids in their frame
-clean the kitchen counter
-clean, fix, and move things onto the new desk

I'm sure there are other things I should do, but those can wait until my next shopping trip.
